Insect Screen

Insect Screening is mainly used on windows and doors to against insects. Also it is used for industrial purposes, sieves, filters and others.

Insect screening fabric can be made of various metal (galvanised steel, stainless steel, copper, brass, aluminum, pvc coated steel) and non-metal (PVC, fiberglass, polyester) materials. Mostly used mesh numbers and 10x10mesh, 14x14mesh, 16x16mesh and some are like 18x14 mesh. Those insect mesh screens marked with the same mesh count (like 10x10) in weft and warp lines are woven with square opening in Plain Weave, while those insect screen marked with different mesh counts have rectangular hole, woven in Twilled Weave.

Aluminium insect screen is the most popular high grade mosquito mesh netting choice. It is not actually made of pure aluminum wire mesh, it is a kind of aluminum alloy mesh screen free from rust and corrosion resistance.
